You Are Getting Very Sleepy

It's been a long day, and you have got a dozen things running through your mind. The biggest of them is "How am I going to get to sleep tonight?" You long for a good restful night's sleep., but when you hit the sheets you find yourself saying: "Oh no, not again" as your mind continues to work overtime. Some random thought or worry pops into your head and before it disappears, another takes its place. The clock ticks. You are freaking out at this point and you fear that you will not get enough rest so you can speak coherently and form thoughts tomorrow. As your fear rises, adrenaline begins to pulse through your system. Hence, you feel more and more awake as sleep eludes you for another night. Sound familiar?

Many people come to me with the issue of insomnia. People struggle with the inability to get to sleep or to stay asleep. Lack of sleep can wreak havoc on our days and nights. Hypnosis can help re-pattern your mental activity so that your mind is calm and peaceful before you go to sleep. A few sessions of hypnotherapy could change your attitude, eliminate your fears and help solve your problems in a manner less likely to produce excess stress. When an over-active mind attempts to deal with tensions, anxieties, pains and problems, sleepless nights are predictable. It may be necessary to consider your life, habit and patterns to pinpoint what are your triggers for insomnia.

Often, following a hypnotic session, a client will sleep quite soundly due to the deep relaxation achieved during the session itself. Elimination of doubts about the ability to sleep can be achieved through hypnosis. Programming the mind with direct suggestions on the natural ability to sleep can be invaluable for creating new sleep patterns. And these patterns can become ingrained as, each night, the client listens to the therapeutic CD that was created for them in-session and drifts off into a deep sleep.
