Ignite the Spark

The Fourth of July is a day of celebration and connecting with the people we love the most. As we
remember the liberation that our forefathers experienced, we tend to feel closer to one another as human beings. On this day, any apparent differences, comparison, envy and anything unlike love tend to fall away. Because there is thread that connects us all as we come together and realize that we are all in this thing called life together.

Today can be a turning point, an opportunity to pledge allegiance to ourselves, and honor our own lives. Every day can be "independence day." As the fireworks go off, it is a reminder that there is a spark inside each one of us waiting to be ignited. An awareness grows of our unique talents and abilities, which sometimes lay dormant due to our own fears and lack of confidence. The truth is that there is no one like you, you have amazing abilities that no one else on this planet has. When we realize the only thing keeping us from expressing our full potential is ourselves, then we begin to see our lives in a new light. Our minds can start the process of being cleansed.

Today as we look around our surroundings and know that nature is so limitless, so awesome and behind that is a power that is surging through each one of us, tying us all together. All of us have an underlying longing for growth and movement in our lives- to break through barriers we once thought impossible. Often on a subconscious level, we know that self-love is the cornerstone for all change. So, it's clear that we must go through a process of releasing what no longer serves us so that we can start to plant the seeds of change within our minds. As we unfold, we start to feel more connected to the universe and the role we were meant to play as we become more of who we really are.
